Mount Lafayette [ info ]
Lafayette's Walker Ravine is bordered by heavily-traveled trails – the Old Bridle Path and the Franconia Ridge Trail – yet its steep and rugged slopes are far more often seen than visited. Even today, only a handful of summer or winter climbers dare penetrate to its steep rock, snow, and ice. The North Peak of Lafayette can be seen on the left; the small peak between Lafayette and Mount Lincoln can be seen along the ridge on the right.
