Over Carter Dome  [ info ]
A stunning view of Carter Dome; those who know the mountain now may be surprised to see the then-bare summit, topped by a long-gone fire tower. To the left lies Mount Hight, and to the right the Ramparts over Carter Dome, with the Rainbow Ridge behind. The Baldfaces and the lakes of Maine are in the distance.
The White Mountains Collection was donated to the Mount Washington Observatory by Brad Washburn
