Carter Dome, highest New Hampshire peak east of Pinkham Notch, and its neighbor Mount Hight can be seen over the forested ridge of Wildcat Mountain, foreground. Just over the top of Wildcat can be seen the highest crags of The Ramparts, forming the eastern wall of Carter Notch.
