Over Mount Washington, toward Carter Dome  [ info ]
The very summit of the mountain, with its colony of buildings – the TipTop House, Summit House hotel, and Stage Office/Observatory among them – stand out sharply in this photo. The foreground features an old corral and cairns on the Crawford Path. Beyond, to the east, are Wildcat Mountain (before today's ski development), Carter Dome, and the Baldfaces.
The White Mountains Collection was donated to the Mount Washington Observatory by Brad Washburn
