Mount Washington over Jefferson's Knee  [ info ]
A dark shadow is cast across the Great Gulf Headwall in this image of Mount Washington seen over a near-alabaster Jefferson's Knee. Chandler Ridge extends to the left of the summit, while, to the right, Mount Monroe can be seen, with peaks of the Sandwich Range and Lake Winnipesaukee in the far distance.
The White Mountains Collection was donated to the Mount Washington Observatory by Brad Washburn
