Looking up the Montalban Ridge  [ info ]
Form the lower reaches of Crawford Notch, this view looks up along the Montalban Ridge, flanked by Mount Crawford and Mount Parker. The upper watershed of the Rocky Branch shows signs of not-too-old timber harvesting. Mount Washington and its satellite peaks lie bright in winter snow.
The White Mountains Collection was donated to the Mount Washington Observatory by Brad Washburn
